A quick-moving storm will push east across Lower Michigan, accompanied by gusty southwesterly winds and a few early afternoon showers, mainly north of Interstate 70.

Temperatures will reach the low to mid-50s ahead of a trailing cold front, before falling back into the mid-40s by evening.

Friday morning will be rather cold, with readings in the 20s and some cloud cover. Another fast-moving system will arrive later in the day, bringing periods of snow and a light accumulation early Friday night.

Drier air will follow over the weekend, as high pressure builds in from the north, with high temperatures struggling to reach freezing on Saturday, with a mix of sun and clouds, along with a few snow flurries.

Sunday will be breezy and a little milder in the afternoon (near 40 degrees). A warming trend will commence early next week, as temperatures rebound into the 50s.
