CLEVELAND, Ohio – Temperatures look to be much chillier this weekend than they were last with highs only in the 20s and 30s.
The National Weather Service’s forecast calls for highs around freezing on Friday with some sunshine during the day, but increased clouds and chances for snow late in the day with less than half of an inch total for much of the area. Saturday will be cloudy and colder with highs only in the upper 20s. More snow is possible, primarily in the morning with less than an inch of additional accumulation for much of the area. Sunday will see sunshine return with highs climbing into the upper 30s. Overnight lows in the 20s are expected each night. In addition, Saturday could see some windy conditions with gusts over 20 mph possible.
Hazardous weather outlook
A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 7 p.m. Thursday evening. Gusts up to 50 mph are possible in some parts of Northeast Ohio.
Work week forecast
For those off on Monday, current predictions call for highs in the low 40s with mostly sunny skies. Temperatures continue to climb on Tuesday with highs in the upper 40s and more sunshine.
