Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie are back for another year as “American Idol” Season 22 kicks off with the first episode of auditions tonight – Sunday, Feb. 18 – at 8 p.m. Eastern on ABC. Ryan Seacrest returns as host for yet another season.
