COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Weezer is performing in Columbus this fall as part of the rock band’s upcoming tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of their self-titled debut album.
The “Voyage to the Blue Planet” tour will make a stop at Nationwide Arena on Sept. 7 with opening acts The Flaming Lips and Dinosaur Jr., Weezer announced on Monday. The band will play 1994’s “Weezer,” also known as the “Blue Album,” in full along with other fan favorites.
Fans can sign up for Weezer’s mailing list at weezer.com/tour to get access to presale tickets on Wednesday at noon. More presales including a Citi presale will run throughout the week ahead of the general sale beginning on Friday at 10 a.m.

Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets for U.S. dates beginning on Wednesday at 9 a.m. until Thursday at 10 p.m.
The rock band boasts the “Blue Album” is a cultural touchstone of the 1990s, with tracks like “Buddy Holly” and “Say It Ain’t So” earning hundreds of millions of streams and endless placements in TV shows and movies.
