COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — From the U.S. Figure Skating Championships at Nationwide Arena to the next chapter of the Harry Potter film concert series at the Ohio Theatre, here are things to see and do this weekend in central Ohio.

Ohio Theatre at 8 p.m. Friday, and 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday

  • The next chapter of the Harry Potter film concert series is in central Ohio this weekend, performing the entire score live while the movie plays in high-definition on a 40-foot screen.

Ohio History Center from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday

  • Central Ohioans can learn more about the plants and animals that call the Buckeye State home at the Ohio History Center this weekend. The center is hosting activities, talks, and showcasing displays on mammals, climates, composting, bird conservation, reptiles, geology, herbs, ancient animals, and more.

Schottenstein Center at 6 p.m. on Saturday

  • Christian music’s biggest tour with performances by Crowder, Lecrae, CAIN, Katy Nichole, Seventh Day Slumber, Newsong, including Speaker Zane Black.

Nationwide Arena through Sunday

Mershon Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday

  • Dancing with the Stars is returning with a brand new show featuring Brandon Armstrong, Rylee Arnold, Alan Bersten, Daniella Karagach, Pasha Pashkov, Gleb Savchenko, Emma Slater and Britt Stewart.

Short North Stage through Feb. 18

  • Spotlight on Celie, a downtrodden young woman whose personal awakening over the course of 40 years forms the arc of this story. With a score featuring jazz, ragtime, gospel, African music and blues, “The Color Purple” is a story of hope, a testament to the healing power of love, and a celebration of life.
