BEREA, Ohio – An intoxicated Berea woman, 34, was arrested at about 3:30 p.m. March 30 after she wrecked a car with her 4-year-old daughter inside.
The woman was involved in a one-car crash on Grayton Road but it was unclear what her Chevrolet Blazer hit. When police arrived, the sport-utility vehicle was off the right side of the road. Several airbags had deployed inside the SUV.
The woman was still in the Blazer and her child was in the backseat. The SUV smelled like alcohol. Police asked the woman to step out of her vehicle. As she did, she leaned against the SUV to maintain her balance.
